Solomon is seeking a fundraiser to help support its strategic growth and sustainability efforts.

What You’ll Do

This is a full-time, remote position for one year, with the possibility of renewal. As a fundraiser, you will be responsible for two key areas:

  • Identifying available grants and potential partnerships with foundations, organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategically developing and managing Solomon’s subscription revenue model.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Writing comprehensive funding proposals in collaboration with our team of journalists.
  • Managing relationships with funders, ensuring ongoing communication, reporting, and maintaining strong connections with all stakeholders.
  • Representing Solomon at international journalism conferences and other public events.
  • Maintaining transparent and consistent communication with our subscriber community while developing engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with our supporters.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fundraising and grant applications.
  • Strong ability to develop communication strategies and manage subscription revenue models.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, as it is the primary language of work; proficiency in Greek is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A passion for investigative journalism and defending the public interest.
